Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

A.

Q. Why do I need a lead capture page?

I'm sure you've heard the saying: "the key to success is in the follow-up". This is very true as studies show that the average person needs to be exposed to something 7-8 times before taking action. You can't follow up with a prospect if you do NOT have their contact follow-up information.

Like a movie teaser, a good lead capture "teaser" page lets you entice your prospects by giving them just enough information to boost their curiosity and get them wanting more. In advertising, this is called "the hook". Your visitors have to submit the web form to gain access to your offer, which we call "the meat". This "meat" can be a special report, a free sample, a CD, a video, an online presentation, or your main website or sales/information page. Once you CAPTURE their follow-up information, you've got their permission to feed them, or expose them to more. You'll be able to call them, build familiarity and trust, send them information by email, ask them for their mailing address so you can mail them your marketing materials, etc.. This "follow-up" is KEY to building a successful business... and it all starts with your personalized lead capture page.

Q. Are the leads I capture exclusive? Will anyone else get these leads?

A.

The leads you capture on your page are exclusive to you. They will NEVER be shared, sold or given away to anyone else at any time.

Q. Do I have to pay extra for hosting?

A.

Hosting is included with all our subscription options. There are no extra costs for hosting
& maintenance.

Q. I'm not that computer literate. How difficult is it to set up my "lead capture" web page?

A.

When you submit your order form, your web page is automatically set up with our default content along with your name & contact information. You can literally start sending people to your page and begin capturing leads right away. However, you'll likely want to personalize your page with your own content. Changing text on the page is as easy as typing within a text field. We also provide step-by-step instructions on how you can easily replace the default picture with your own, as well as add your own audio messages. You do NOT need to know HTML or any other type of programming.

Q. What content do I have the ability to change on my web page?

A.

You can add/edit your own titles, sub-titles, tag lines, bullet points, text message, webform header text, submit button text, picture and audios. You can also customize your own thank you/sales letter landing page.

Q. What happens when someone submits the webform on my "lead capture" page?

A.

The default is set to automatically send you a lead notice with the visitors' contact information to up to 2 email addresses, which you can add (or change) in the "edit profile" section of your members area. Your visitors are then taken to a default thank you page displaying your contact information and prompting them to visit your main website. If you want, you can easily set your web form to bypass the default thank you page and go directly to your main website or have them go to your customized thank you page instead.

Q. What visitor information do I receive when I get these email lead notices?

A.

The webform is set up to capture just the essential information needed (first name, phone number, email address, best time to call and message/comments). Your visitors' IP numbers are also captured. This protects you against SPAM charges, because it shows that these visitors contacted you and requested more information.

Q.

Can I remove a field from my web form such as "phone number", or add other fields such as "physical address"?

A.

We strongly recommend keeping the "phone number" field on the webform, since phone follow-up is very important for increasing your success rate. Usually, if a visitor doesn't want to give their phone number, they'll just type anything in that field, which will still allow the form to be submitted. Also, this can be a good pre-qualifier. If someone doesn't want to give you their phone number, you may want to follow up with those that do first.

Adding fields for a "physical street address" is also not recommended. Some of our members have asked about this because they are promoting a free sample, CD or video on their page and want to mail these to their leads. We discourage adding this field for TWO reasons: 1.) It can be a deterrent to capturing more good leads. [Many people do NOT want to give some stranger on the Internet information to where they live before they've made contact.]  2.) By not having this field on the web form, it gives you the ability to capture more quality leads, build initial trust, and pre-qualify your leads before wasting money on mailings. For example; Visitors wanting your free offer know you'll have to call them for their mailing address, so they'll want to enter their real phone number. And, by calling them first you'll be able to build trust and rapport before asking for their address. You may also want to ask them a few questions to pre-qualify them before you spend money on mailing them your materials.

With that said, if you really want, we can customize a web form for you with the fields you want for a small, one-time customization charge.

Q.

Can I add an autoresponder email to my lead capture web form?

A.

Yes, you can simply add any autoresponder email address to the web form (as a second recipient) for triggering your autoresponder messages when someone submits your form. Or, you use our recommended, third-party "autoresponder" add-on service. This lets you capture your subscribers information into this optional subscriber system, so you can send out an unlimited number of personalized follow-up messages with your subscribers' captured details. Our system is integrated to work with some of the top autoresponder services, including "GetResponse", "Aweber" and "Response Magic". We can also customize a web form to work with other autoresponder/contact manager services for a small, one-time customization charge.

Q.

Is it difficult to cancel this service if I needed to do so?

A.

You can easily cancel your account at any time and stop all future recurring charges by using the cancellation button in the "support" section of your members area.

Q.

If I had a question or needed help with setting up my web page, is there any type of support?

A.

Yes. You can always contact a support agent through the "support" section of your members area. We answer support tickets very quickly and are always happy to help. We also have live chat support when available.

Q.

What would my lead capture web address be, and can I use my own domain instead?

A.

Your web page would be something like: www.iPodiums.com/USERNAME (you choose your own username). Other domains may be available with certain private label clients. However, it's a very good idea to get your own domain name. Most domain providers offer a free forwarding service. You can forward any domain to your lead capture page. We've provided step-by-step instructions on how to register your own domain and how to use domain forwarding. There's also a special offer in this article where you can register your own domain for as little as $1.99/1st Yr.. Click the following link for all the details:
